Temperament:
Cockapoos are people oriented and outgoing dogs. They are very gentle, loyal,
affectionate, friendly, happy dogs. They are well-suited for children and
adults.
Family Dog:
The Cockapoo is an ideal family dog, child's playmate or companion for the
elderly. They make perfect dogs for anyone willing to take care of them.
Shedding:
Cockapoos are considered a low shedding dog. They are believed to be a good
choice for people with pet allergies. Depending upon which parent they take
after will determine the shedding amount, most are minimal to nonshed.
Grooming:
Cockapoos will require brushing regularly,
and visits to the groomers, how many times a year will depend on the look and
length you want. The longer the coat the more brushing that will be required.
Training:
Cockapoos are very intelligent and easy to train.
Weather:
Cockapoos can adapt to any climate, city, or rural living. They are extremely
adaptable dogs. They should be indoor dogs though as they thrive on
companionship.
Exercise:
Cockapoos are at home in an apartment as well as in a home with a large yard.
They are lively dogs and like moderate exercise. Cockapoos possess speed and
endurance.
Life Expectancy: Cockapoos usually live to be between 13 and 14 years of age.

ABOUT Reggie: Reggie is a doll!! He is very sweet, loving and affectionate, he loves to cuddle and give you lots of love back. Reggie likes playing with other puppies, and shows no signs of being aggressive or the need to be an alpha, even when another puppy takes his chew toy away, he will trot around and find another open toy to play with. He adores our children who are 2 and 4 1/2 years old.
