Welcome to our Shihpoo Past Puppies!
A Shihpoo is a cross between a Shih Tzu & a Poodle. Shihpoos are intelligent, alert, friendly, and very loyal to their owners. They enjoy being the center of attention. Shihpoos do well with other pets. They are very intelligent and eager to please their owners. Shihpoos are very easily trainable, they love to learn new tricks. They learn quickly and enjoy showing off their newly learned tricks. Shihpoos are wonderful family dogs, they loves children. They are a nonshed hypoallergenic dog.
Appearance: They tend to have a wide variety of colors. They have long coats which can be straight, wavy or curly. Being a mixed breed, you can not guarantee the look, in one litter the siblings may not even look the same, one may take more of the poodle and the next may take more look of the Shih Tzu.

I just want to thank you so much for bringing Millie and myself together she is a wonderful puppy! We fit very well together, we both have attitude and a little spunk to us. Some days it's interesting to see who will win. I could not imagine not having her in my life so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thanks again! From Amy's Mother: Just wanted to let you know that the puppies are doing well. She absolutely loves her and calls me every night with new things that Millie has done. I absolutely love him!!! I
took him into the vet today and everything looks great (=
I cannot believe that he has only been here for 2 days, its seems as if he
has lived here forever the way he just makes himself comfortable everywhere.
He loves to ride in the tow trucks too!! It is soooo cute. He is such a
sweet boy with a great personality. I cannot thank you enough!!!! thank you
thank you thank you!!
Update: I am still loving my puppy! He is the best dog I have ever had- He is doing an awesome job with the house training and also retrieving which is a funny thing to see such a little dog do. I want to thank you for him- I went on vacation for a weekend and my best friend watched him and I couldn't believe how much I missed the little guy.
Update:
Mater is still doing wonderful!! He just got
neutered yesterday. The staff at the vets just love him too and cannot
believe how soft his coat is! He is a BEAUTIFUL dog! We have been so busy
lately with towing that he has more hours in a tow truck than some of our
drivers!! He loves it- whenever one of the trucks start up he runs
for the door like he is ready to go!
Thanks again for raising such a friendly, snuggly
family dog- WE LOVE HIM!!!!

He's such a cute little guy! I had him outside this morning and he sure does like to play. He'd stay outside all day if he could. He gets a bath almost daily because he loves rolling in the dirt. He has such a great personality. He just learned how to jump up on our bed. He never could quite make it and we always had to give him a boost. He can be a little mischievous sometimes though. Becks is doing really well with potty training and is such a sweetheart! He loves meeting new people and puppies and his tail wags all the time. Everyone says how well behaved he is! Thank You! Jeanette Update: Becks is
almost a year old now, and he has topped out around 15 pounds. He is still
the sweetest puppy I've every known and he is so well behaved. We don't need
to kennel him when we're gone anymore, and he basically just sleeps on the
bed until we get home. He is very playful when we get home, though! He's
learned a ton of tricks including sit, stay, lay down, roll over, shake,
off, out, spin, waive (stands up and waives his front paws!), and a few more
that are still in progress! He is very smart and learns very quickly. We are
so happy to have him as a part of our family, and can't imagine how we ever
lived without him.

We are so happy with Sadie!!!!! She is adjusting to her new family. She likes to run and play with our other dog "chip" (a 7 year old cocker spaniel) She has stolen all of our hearts. She still has not had accident in the house. (awesome!) When we walk her she stops and runs toward the little children at the park. She just loves little kids. She is a wonderful puppy! We took her in the car on some errands. When my daughter waited in the car with Sadie - she heard some little kids coming towards them and she got all excited and wanted to see them. Now that we've had Greta
for a couple of months, we thought we would give you an update on how she is
doing. She is a six month old bundle of energy, and we absolutely love her!
She has a wonderful personality and is very social. Our neighbors think she
is just the cutest puppy and they will come over to see her when she is
outside. She occasionally goes to puppy daycare at our Vet's, and they love
to have her come. They said she is just a joy to have around. Our home
wouldn't be the same without Greta here to keep us on our toes! |

Minnie has been a WONDERFUL addition to our family! She is sweet and loving. She likes to cuddle but she also like to play!! She loves to go on walks and is always so excited to greet us when we come home. Even if we were only gone a short time. She loves to be outdoors when she can, even in the snow!! She is only about 11 pounds, but she is 11 pounds of pure joy! Madi and I took her to puppy classes and she was the smartest one. She learned all her lessons very quickly and thus has been a very well behaved dog. Thank You!

Cuddles is doing really great. He is the sweetest little guy. He follows me around all of the time and actually "talks" to me by growling and making other noises. He is so smart. When we take him out to go potty he goes within a minute of going out. He is a wonderful little dog. We were at the dog park the other day and he got all of the big dogs running after him as he wanted to play. I think he got a little scared of all of the attention from the dogs bigger than him, but I picked him up until the other dogs found other things to occupy them. He wasn't afraid to begin playing with them again though. Our other little dog Zuzu adores him. I will give both of them a treat and she will go hide hers and then go steal Cuddles' treat. He lets her sometimes and at others doesn't give it up. He is so gentle with her. Although he does sometimes sit on her head. We couldn't be happier with him. Thanks, Julie

Wilson is doing great and we just love him
to death. When we got him at 6 months old he was so very shy and "afraid"
but it didn't take too long before we were his mom and dad. He is still a
shy (perhaps more apprehensive) dog, but loves to visit and play with
others, just doesn't allow too many people to cuddle up to him like we
can. He's got a girlfriend 2 doors down--another Shihpoo a couple months
older. To watch them play together is the most fun thing ever! Being 60
years old and never having had a dog...I feel really lucky to have found
Wilson. Both of us wonder how we ever got along without him. I've
attached a few pictures. One of the pictures shows how he looks out our
window toward the direction of his girlfriend.

Einstein is doing well. He is so wonderful with our little ones, he loves to play and snuggle with them, and tolerates their unpredictability, pokes, tail pulls, and their playing with his toys and food – actually he more than tolerates it, he seems to really enjoy all of it! He loves car rides and will often try his hardest to sneak in. We have decided to “share” him with our parents. He lives at their home every other month and whenever we are out of town. He thrives in this arrangement as he gets a change of scenery and loves all people of all ages – and then our kids get a chance to “miss” him. Thanks! The Nelson's

Here is our monster Millie. She is a very busy puppy and lets us know that she rules with her high pitch bark and loves her squeaky toys, a little too much sometimes. Troy has started to teach her tricks when she comes in from out side, she now sits without us telling her and is starting to learn to roll over. I think next up is shaking paws/hands. Kathy

Mikko is such a good boy and is the perfect lap dog. My 3 year old is pretty attached to him because he is just a cuddler. He is amazing with the kids! When we are gone we usually put him in the kennel, he likes it there with a bone and he is content, although might be fine with run of the house, we just don't even try, he is trained when the shoe closet opens he gets in the kennel.
