Chuck Norris is doing fantastic. He is very energetic and loves to play! Chuck has brought a lot of happiness and excitement to our home. He loves to run and play with the cats and sleeps between us every night. Thank you very much for helping to brighten our lives with this perfect addition to our family.

  "Chewy" short for "Chewbacca" is a joy.  The ride home he was perfect, and from the first night he has slept through the night, in fact I usually have to wake him up when I wake up my son (they are late sleepers), I have not yet heard him cry, and I think we've heard him bark, or yip just once.  He is already getting quite proficient at fetch which he enjoys quite a bit.

 

I have attached a few pictures from this week, much to my son's dismay I couldn't resist a little doggy shirt (it was on sale and it's been so cool out...)

 

  Housebreaking is going along good as well, we take him outside a LOT.  He knows his name and well, he's really a great puppy and brings us joy and many smiles every day.

Update: Chewy is now.. 20 months old and has us trained quite well.  He loves wearing his coat or his "jammies" and loves the snow.  He loves to fetch, play with his toys and do tricks (he's quite the dancer) and when he wants a treat he performs for us until we get the hint.  He's about 14 lbs, we had a coat made for him at the renaissance festival that's he would wear all the time if we let him.  He is a joy.  He still has his kennel that he will nap in but we don't ever close it up, he enjoys sleeping under my bed, on his own bed or with my son.  He thinks of himself as quite the guard dog with his fierce little bark at anyone who approaches the house, but if he can get too them.. he will smother them in kisses.  Fortunately the neighbor likes that he barks at people that approach.  He is incredibly smart and loves learning new things (we are working on his dance moves) and adores his toys.

 

 Lola is doing very well! She is the sweetest most loving puppy I could ever have wished for. I can honestly tell you she is happy in our home. She is finally getting used to going potty outside and we're currently working on leash training. She also just had her first visit to the groomer's and she did very well :)  She learned her name very quickly and usually comes when called but she does have a stubborn streak :) My favorite moments with her are definitely when we cuddle and she lays her head on my lap while watching a movie or while I'm reading. I will definitely keep you updated though and send more pictures. Thank you so much for this wonderful pup!

Daisy is doing well. She is loving her new home and is training her new people. She is such a social butterfly. It is really true when they say that small dogs think they are big dogs. She loves her new sister Bailey (Beagle). Although Daisy wants to play a lot more than Bailey does. She sleeps in her crate at night and is doing well. She had her first grooming appt a few weeks ago and did great. She came home looking like a princess with a pink bow.  Thanks again for such a great puppy. We really enjoy having her around and she has become a wonderful addition to our furry children.

Well, here's Herbie! She turned 1 on 6/23/10 and we've had her 7 months, but feels like she's been with us forever- fits in our family very well! Loves to play, lay around, go for car rides- couldn't have picked a better puppy for our family. Brooks and Herbie are best friends! We all love her.

I'm emailing to give you a puppy update Dylan.  He is doing wonderful!  Adjusted to the Big City in no time.  He and Sophie (my other Yorkie Poo) are the best of friends...you don't dare separate them.  They sleep on top of each other and play non-stop.  Dylan is a chewer though, he chews on everything....cords, shoes and corners of walls are his favorites.  He is the biggest lover ever and just rolls on his back and wants his stomach rubbed.  He wakes me up every morning with kisses (yes they both sleep with me in bed every night).

We love Tully.  He is smart, mostly quiet, very social – friendly with all people and pets.  Our daughter’s 8 year old golden spent a couple of days with us recently and the two are now fast friends.  They spent much time chasing and wrestling with each other.  Quite a sight due to their different sizes.  Our vet and helpers say he is as cute as “a button”  which he is!

Gracie is doing Wonderful!!!  What a change for our family for the past half year.  She is such a sweetheart!  She's a cuddler as well as a proud "stealer" of anything she can get her mouth on - socks, shoes. As you can see - she fits right in with one of our cats!  She's almost as big as the cat now!  She's a true baby and even has her own car seat in the van! We got her that this fall so that she could be safe and look out the windows!  She graduated a few weeks ago from a puppy training class at PetSmart!  She's very smart, but gets bored quickly. We're so delighted to have her in our family!  Thank you so much!

Baloo and Tommy are enjoying their new home.  They are spoiled...always sitting on someone's lap and sleeping in a bed at night.  They love chasing each other in the back yard.  Tommy is the hunter, and Baloo plays the prey.  They like to snuggle together when they nap.  They sure have been a good addition to our home.

Marley has been the best dog EVER! We actually just welcomed a new baby boy into our family 9 months ago, and he is so good with the baby!  We get SO many compliments on Marley as well, EVERYONE thinks he is so cute!

Torq has been the most perfect addition to our family. He definitely has his "puppy" moments, but he is such a sweetheart. He graduates from a 9 week Beginning Obedience course tonight. He has a stubborn streak, but is doing well in his class! His favorite thing in the world are tennis balls! You can usually find him carrying one in his mouth (yes, a full-size one!) and even throwing and kicking it for himself to go catch. Sometimes he even tries to bring them to bed and will snuggle with them. He is so funny and keeps us laughing all the time!

Our brother and his girlfriend bought Torq's sister (who they have renamed "Buca"), and the two dogs love getting together. They will play nonstop until they absolutely crash and snuggle up to nap together. We love seeing all their similarities, as well as their differences!

We will keep you updated with more pictures as he changes and grows, but here are some for now! (the first picture is Buca and Torq together)

Ruby has been just a complete joy!  She is the perfect addition to our family and has melted the heart of everyone she meets! She just turned 10 months at the beginning of October.  She is a very fast learner.  She knows how to sit, lay down and dance.  In time we will work on more tricks with her. She was also very quick to be potty trained.  She was barking at the patio door within a month of living with us.  She likes it outside so much she even barks to just go out and run in the yard.  She also loves to go on her walks twice a day and circles at the front door when she sees her harness and leash come out. Ruby is a bed hog!  She LOVES to cuddle right in the middle of the bed!  :) She also travels well in the car.  She prefers to stay in her kennel. We have three cats and were leery at first to see how well they were all going to adapt to each other. As you can see from the pictures she has targeted Odie as her buddy.  They play all day long chasing each other all over the house.  It's fun to watch. The funny thing is, the only time we hear her bark is either when she needs to go outside or when she is chasing the cats around the house. In all my years of having dogs I've never had one as unique as this one. Ruby is obsessed with ice cubes.  As soon as she hears the ice cube maker go off in the kitchen she comes running from where ever she is and waits for one to drop for her.  She then runs after it like it's the last treat on earth.  Needless to say we save money on dog treats and she stays well hydrated.  :)  Ruby also has a tongue that is too long for her mouth.  It is always peeking out.  She is so cute!  She also loves to play with all of her toys.  I was amazed at how right your description was about her regarding this as well as how little she barks.  She doesn't let her toys sit alone too long!  Again, I wanted to send you a quick note and tell you thank you so much!  I can't tell you how much Ruby means to us!  She is very loved! We hope to eventually add another one of your pups to our family in the future.
